Our partner is a well-respected integrated solutions provider for the Healthcare industry, with more than 100 sites worldwide. To support the Marketing team in Belgium, they are currently looking for an exceptional Product Manager (traveling up to 30%).

Job description

The Product Manager delivers crucial and fundamental support in building and sustainably manage the capsule product line of the business unit.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Managing and optimizing the product portfolio through all stages of Introduction, Growth, Maturity and Decline
  • Driving the product life cycle and product development: responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the product portfolio
  • Managing the innovation pipeline
  • Monitoring product performance in the market by volume and margins
  • Determine product pricing by evaluating competitive market conditions within industrial market segment
  • Assist with the forecasting process to provide a vital link between sales forecasts and production quantities
  • Successful cooperation with key internal stakeholders (Sales, BD, R&D, Quality, Operations, Value Chain) in a cross-functional virtual team
  • Combining deep understanding of the Business Unit’s (product/asset) capabilities, the competitive landscape and customer/ market demand for pharmaceutical products
  • Product Sales & Support: Generate technical awareness in the appropriate departments and train field sales representative to sell and support products within assigned market segments
  • Together with the Marketing Manager, prepare global marketing campaigns to drive sales for the product lines


The ideal candidate can rely on the following:

  • MSc. in Economics, Marketing or Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • Solid experience in marketing and/or sales or relevant other experience within the pharmaceutical field
  • Experience in product management: product knowledge, forecasting and budgeting, pricing and positioning
  • Demonstrated success at building customer relationships and understanding customer needs
  • Program/project management experience
  • Excellent collaboration and networking skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights and crisp presentations
  • Strong business acumen, a team player and strong forecasting experience and product marketing experience in B2B industries
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment
  • Fluency in English
